NOC from RTO chennai.
I bought an old fiat from chennai and taking it to Mumbai via Bangalore.
I want to re-register the car in Mumbai.
Can anyone tell me how to obtain a NOC from Chennai for the car.
Does the process require:
1. the vehicle to be present in chennai?
2. should the original RC book be presented with the Form 28 to get the NOC from chennai?
3. If there are any agents who will do this work and an approximately how much will it cost?
Am just about beginning my journey to restore this 1968 fiat and any help will be wonderful.

Kerala RTO charges
I noticed that the charges mentioned in the Kerala MVD website for Temp regn & permanent regn are Rs 50 & rs 300 respectively but all dealer are charging Rs 100 for temp regn & 600 for permanent regn, apart from "handling charges".
Is the website outdated or am i missing something?
Can anyone share information about exactly how regn fees & taxes are calculated for sedans/SUV/MPV (Taxi & Non Taxi) in India (& Kerala if possible) Is it only corresponding to the engine size?
Thanks in advance.
