The high-powered show, to be held from September 5 to 9, 2008 at the Marine Drive, Kochi, will also feature a wide variety of interactive programmes including quiz and adrenalin-filled competitions and rollicking fun for all visitors.

The largest Auto Expo of its kind in the region, NITROUS ’08 is expected to draw a record number of exhibitors showcasing top brands, innovative technology and high-performance gadgets, running the whole gamut from sheer economy to custom-built luxury.

On the run up to the enchanting festivities of Onam, automobile enthusiasts will have something unique to celebrate in Kochi this season: NITROUS ’08, truly a blazing hot spot of excitement, glamour and inspiration. Rev up, and scorch the fast lane of emerging automotive dreams! cheers:

HIGHLIGHTS

A first of its kind in South India.
It will be a national auto expo of international standards conducted over a period of four days, located in the heart of the city.
Provides a very Unique oppurtunity for the companies to showcase their vechile models and products.Daily entertainment programmes will be conducted at the venue.

STOCK CARS AND BIKES
All the lastest and sought after automobiles will be on display. Their space includes a Customer Service Desk and facility for Test Drives.

MODIFIED CAR AND BIKE COMPETITION (Prize money : 25,000 - 50,000)

A contest will be conducted on All-Kerala Basis. It will be judged on the basis of the Body work done on the vechile and Engine Tune-Up. Special events will be conducted, which has a lot to do with the Drivers and their Engine Capability! (Will be announced on the Event)

RAMP WALK
Daily night Ramp walks by models of all participating companies.
Accompanied by specialized lighting and music.

VINTAGE CARS DISPLAY
Vintage cars depicting the nostalgia of the by-gone era will be on display.

STALLS
Stalls by various automotive services, part and accesories dealers.

SEMINARS
Green house emission and its effect on environment. Emerging technologies in the firld of
Automobile engineering.

CUT-OUTS AND MODELS
Selected students to aquire knowledge on all the aspects of the working of automobiles and
impart that knowledge to the public.

you will Find BMW there! but for mitsu they are a little hesitant

Can't help but notice the similiarities b/n us . MAC is organising this right? Whats the budget? Be prepared for sleepless nights, ego clashes, financial losses, and above all lots and lots of euphoria!.

(PS. I did not mention the assorted supplies, just so that you won't loose all the steam )

BTW what stage is it now?Got any Title sponsors? Who are all the 'driving forces' behind this? Are they Bhpians? Anyway all the best wishes !!

nice to hear that!!! one doubt from me, which will be the best among these 4 days, cos i have to drive from tvm to ekm to see this!! if u give 1 proper day that we must see, please mention!!

this is not our first time running the show!
No one even knows about team-bhp .
'driving forces' its just some determined +hot and talented young guys like me and a few doing there work for the college and for themselves! "Title sponsors" we have some umm... actually i have no clue on the sponsors its not my department! Our budget is some where around 14 i guess

as if for now the last two days will be the best for the car section and the second day 7th will be the best for the bike section.

P.S plans may change so got to wait till the last 7 days to confirm!

I know, I was a part of something similar @ TCR around three years back.
We didn't have a title sponsor back then,and couldn't get one despite slashing down the tariffs significantly.

Hey, can i know which are the classic cars coming for the show?? Are they just something from the ATS cars stable or are there any 'proper' cars?? if so, i need to bunk class from coimby!!
