going to delhi to do the MBA.. - Team-BHP

leaving cal finally this june !
doing the mba from IILM delhi ( Lodhi road )
heard of it ?

just wondering what i shud expect from the city..
will be taking my cbz with me..
looking forward to the G2Gs..if i get time that is
heard a lot about the non-english speaking pretty women of delhi

whats it like.. apart from being real hot & real cold !

Im studying in Delhi too
I remember seeing your the iilm campus-pretty fancy i must say
I dunno much about Kolkata but Delhi is definitly different from Mumbai
Delhiites are VERY VERY statue concious and will judge you by your bank balance. Driving is crazy and road rules are unheard of.Dont go out late at night unless your with friends cos it is pretty dangerous. Dont take ur chick out late or make out with her in public cos the Delhi cops will ruin you

Theres khaadu75 (known him from before tbhp) and theres manticore who met up with us at the noida autocross a few weekends back..lancerlover might be interested to join us.. there are a couple of others too i guess,

Yes this forum is indeed Mumbai-Bangalore-Pune-Hydrabad centric (to put it simply, south indian maybe the good word)...

Hatari, welcome to Delhi.
What to expect:
1. Lane driving practised better than in Calcutta. (lol.. its true guys..)
2. Much lesser polution compared to Calcutta.
3. Arrogant people and lots of road rage incidents.
4. Wider roads than Calcutta.
5. Lots of Santros.
6. Lots of Indica cabbies going at 80+ speeds and taking off at signals like ferraris.
7. Lots of Dabba on wheels (i meant Qualis/omini/sumos)
8. A hell lot of Pulsars.
9. Lots of stray cows, dogs , buffalos (esp in Lodhi road area)
10. And last but not the least... The second biggest engg. college of Delhi (areawise atleast) Delhi college of engg. situtated in a suburban village called Bawana Gaon
