@Torqy great pic. I guess you had posted this long back in a smaller size albeit?
The silhoutted of the people is adding life at the same time is not distracting the viewer from the lovely beach.
@mansidea, its a lovely frame.

A polarizer filter would've added more contrast between the bird and the water surface. But then i'm not sure whether he would've got the bird's reflection.

Thanks biju for that excellent framing. (I got some mind block towards portrait framing & its high time to change it)

Thanks venkatesh

@torqy: Shot at low light & image with polarizer was not very appealing without reflection.

Same place, two different angles. I shot the first one from the 1st floor balcony and the second from a bedroom window. The tree in photo is about 1Km away.

Samurai,

The second picture is amazing.
What's the light source behind the tree?

Thanks. Considering E-500 is pretty weak in lowlight performance, it ain't bad.

It's raining cats and dogs in Bangalore. This one looks like given up all hope. 6pm today.

Amazing Exposure Rudraji.
The backligthing of the scene is just fantastic. Slow shutter speed and I guess you got lucky that the crow stay put enough for you to freeze it
The rule of the third and the silhoutted crow is also a fantastic idea. Wonderful overall. It is a real skill to pic up amazing shots out of mundane things. Thats where a photographer stands out from the crowd with a camera.
I bow to you rudraji
