A light drizzle started now. I stepped out of my cabin to enjoy this divine weather and this is what I saw:

FH, its the slight difference in angle in each of those windows which brings about the 3 skies effect which Rudra was talking about. Atleast, thats what i inferred.

Mukul, the first tiger shot was just brilliant! I know i say that about a lot of your snaps, but this one's above all those.

Tried the Bulb mode + manual flash with a SLR during college days when I was part of the photography club! well, I was happy with the result!

Yesterday I realised that most of you photographers don't visit travelogue or 4x4 excursions thread, where I post bulk of my photos.

Therefore, do checkout my last weekend's effort here: https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/4x4-e...isle-ghat.html

Nazim, the first one is quite uncanny.Looks like your talking to your own image. How did you do it?

That was a double exposure shot. Multiple exposure - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This picture was taken in 2002 at my room in the hostel!

Here's what we did:
Used a chair and lots of books as a makeshift tripod.
Set the focus of the SLR by sitting on both ends of the bed. (had a friend assisting me)
Darkened the room. Sat at one location first. Clicked the shutter release button @ bulb mode.
Flash was held in hand & triggered (it had a manual trigger)
Changed location & pose and triggered the flash again!

I had one more with a dark background without the ghost effect. But unfortunately i lost the image during my HDD crash!

Yes. But the Gurus here will not accept that!

@gd1418: The petal shot looks amazingly sharp..! Any PP? (Unsharp mask or high pass or something or is it the lens?)

@pulsar: Interesting. I too had made a ghost shot like this sometime back, can't find the picture now... it was a picture where I appear half opaque

Here are some bird shots from me. Taken using the 70-210mm, fungus is slowly spreading in my lens, and soon pictures will loose their contrast. :(

My hair, my style... you got a problem with that?

Thanks Clever. I never ever use PP as I have said earlier as well. The only thing I do, if you may call that as PP, is to crop the photo where necessary. BTW, could it be the person behind the lens?

Lemme give you the EXIF:

Camera - Nikon D300
Lens - AF-S Zoom Nikkor 35~70 f/3.3-4.5
ISO - 125
Metering - spot
Zoom - 70mm
Shutter - 1/30
Aperture - F9
Flash - TTL fill flash
WB - Auto
Tripod - No

Javed Habib should copy that hairstyle...
