ok, here is another one.
got into the car, rolled the windows down to clear the snow, realised it was ice, and was stuck as a wall of ice to the window.

my brother had it funnier last year, he rolled the driver window down, and the "wall" fell in his lap.

Thats ok,vivek. Listen to this. The same thing happened to my roomie. We had gone to DC for a conference, and as soon as we got home,we decided to go to Kroger & pick up some groceries. I took my car,and as I slid the passenger side window, the ice stood up the same way (as seen in your pic). My friend thought that the glass was down, and decided to stick his head out to look at the sky. Bam!!! Not only did he shatter the ice-screen, he got a clean little nick on his nose!

Guys, please dont post thumbnails. Try to resize and post 800x600 or 640x 480 ones.

Excellent shots Sks as tsk said if you could have slow down the shutter speed then the reflections and the movement of the wheel would have been nice and smooth. the twin towers were also burnt out it seems. but overall great picture dude . keep it going.

hey jk...

these were taken in chattisgarh at the chitrakoot falls. they are a very large horseshoe and are actually called the niagra of the east...

as with the big brother, in the summer, these falls also become two seperate sections since the volume of water reduces..

cheers amigos

Camera-shy or what ?

All three ducks ducked into the water when I snapped them.
This was at the Kalpakavadi restaurant during the kerala tbhp meet of 24-Feb-08.

@SB - Not camera shy, but looks like a synchronised get-the-hell-out-of-here attempt I guess. They must have been afraid they'd end up on your plate, instead of getting something on their plate !

another one, my whole family was sitting in the patio when this guy fell off the tree and immediately got into a battle ready mode. Seeing that we were not interested in fighting him, he scrammed. Just when he started climbing stairs, he saw a camera in my hands and stuck a pose.

A beginner, learning with some basic cams like Canon A510 and Nokia N95. A nice forum and very informative for begineers like me. Here are some attempts.
