Traffic update:
malabar hill to worli: no traffic, situation calm, infact hardly any cops present so south mumbai should be safe

all shops at worli naka are shut.

Bandra side: no cars allowed under the flyover complex at bandra-mahim. all cars diverted onto the bridge and then to the western express highway

As per security, things are not calm in Malad/Goregaon (W), advised to stay indoor.

Was stuck in a massive jam on Cadell Road for a long while. Called GTO who is extremely familiar with the area, with good reason.

A quick tip from him and I was on my way to the office. All of the area is closed, doesn't affect us as our office is inside a building. My driver did not come to work, as did many colleagues.
Guess it should be a pleasant drive home, provided no mishap occurs.

As per the reports of the BMW showroom being smashed, yes it is true I saw pictures on Aajtak showing all the glasses of the showrooms smashed. Didnt see any cars damaged though.

The westernexpress highway, is a pleasure to drive on today.
My wife just came back from Bhayander, to worli, and she took just 1 hour against normal 1.45 hours. At mahim the driver took tulsi pipe road so avoided the shivaji park/cadell road area.

In the morning at 10.30am i was on my way to work, the BMW showroom was intact, gosh they have a sparkling brand new M3 coupe in white color i just hope no damage is done to any of the cars.

In my office i have given an off to my juniors and colleges who stay far off, also warned if they are not confident remain in the office,or come back if they don't get any mode of transport.

Tell me about it. We had a Board meeting today, so had to sit up till 2am in the morning to prepare. And guess what happens in the morning. Meeting cancelled. And yes, we too had some people from overseas.

Anyways, update is that Raj Thackeray is being taken to Kalyan, where he has another case pending against him. If he gets there before 17:30 hrs, he can get bail. Following which, I hope, life gets back to normal.

I want to have a ciggie. All shops closed

Sir does Khalsa college also belong to you? Heh heh.

Well, to be honest, I had expected a far greater break out of mindless violence. This is pretty OK so far.

Raj Thackeray has been denied bail, that is the cause for this concern. Actual situation might not be bad.
