Default Opinion on restaurant in Alleppey

Guys this is kinda urgent. we have a group of about a dozen people and today lunch has to be at Alleppey, The choice leans towards seafood and since the weather here is not so happening today, the use of a boat or the beach can be avoided.
The Places that were suggested are
Alleppy Beach Resorts.
Marari Beach Resorts
Pozhiyoram resorts.
Now, food is the first priority. and of course the ambience / service and price are imp:
If any of you have been to any of these places, please give me your opinions and comments. and also if you have another place please suggest them.

We have to head out by 11 / 12 in the afternoon so that's the urgency.

If food is priority, dont look beyond the Casino Group and head for Marari Beach Resort. However I'm sure there are a lot of local places that people like trrk and Vischu can comment on with more authority. The food at Alleppey Prince Hotel used to be really good at one point of time, but that was quite a while back.

Marari is the best also coz of location, cnt trhink of another with that ambience. Costly it is.

Will remember to call Ram the next time, Yes it's going to be a bit on the steep side, but should be ok, nobody else is offering this kinda package (view, ambience, beach, food, kids activity...)
Thanks for all your inputs, will let you all know what the outcome was.
