Most foreign agencies take tips from Cops/BSF/Army for counter insurgency, bomb detection, urban warfare etc.

PLEASE NO COP BASHING AND POLITICS IN THIS THREAD.
No one is bashing the Police, they are heroes indeed, but if you argue over the fact that they are under-equipped and mis-managed, you really have no idea what you're on about.

PS: I would suggest you read into posts better and let people express their opinion, it is highly frustrating to elaborate on a point of opinion when so much insanity is going on.
I do agree with leaving politics out of this.

EDIT: Please post details regarding your post below. Will appreciate it.

Some people are coming out from fire exit, in NDTV they are interviewing some of them.

Oh boy, some foreign tourist has question mark on her face when TV reporter asked her a question. I think this would be the trip of her life time.

I think its much much more than a simple law and order situation. Police can not handle such hellbent terrorists with automatic machine guns, grenades etc. No wonder we are loosing high profile officers. It needs the army to move in. The commandos, their helicopters everything is needed.

I hope they manage to put out the fire in Taj. A heritage building getting burnt to cinders is just not acceptable.

There is a huge fire on the top of Taj hotel.

100 people have been rescued from Taj, and I think by morning one side of the Taj will be completely burnt.

The Dome is indeed on fire. Smoke all around. At this rate the Taj is doomed. What's going on here?

A small trivia about the Taj:
Taj group of hotels is the largest collector of art in india and most of it is displayed in their flagship hotel in mumbai- the one targeted today!

Can you imagine the amount of priceless pieces being lost!

The fire is really scary, i switched off the TV..
cant see this lovely monument lost.. not sure whether we can still save the top floor.. there is no fire engine activity for Taj, it seems no one is sure how many terrorists are there inside

Its just pathetic. Some opposition leader, Ramdas something,..... "This is not the time for politics, but the mumbai police is incompetent. The government was informed that after delhi, mumbai was the next target, but they still did not do anything." !!!!!!!!
