Once I found a lady in Cubbon park, accompanied by all the strays in the park(for those who do not know, it is a huge park), a sizeable number. They waited all around her, patiently, no barks or anything, while she arranged plates and put food in each. The orderly manner in which they ate would put to shame some humans, who jostle for space and fight to be first at the table at many marriage parties that I have seen. I mentally paid tributes to the lady, I guess she was a regular, going by hoe the dogs behaved with her. Each of the dog knew that it would be fed, and was waiting for its turn. Amazing.
Guys thanks a lot for the wishes.
Kuttappan, I have seen some people do the same in various parts of the City, and the dogs are always obedient, and I never see a fight between dogs, apart from the territorial fights. Some Animals are territorial, and they never give up that, so are dogs, fights are usually for territorial boundaries only.

Dogs are so much obedient when being fed, they never chew your fingers off, most of them take care not to scare you when you feed them, it's only we humans who scare the dogs more, I have known dogs that take care not to lick even when you give them a biscuit or something, they take it with the tip of their teeth and put it down and look back at you if you are going to give another. Some take it and eat it immediately, some take it and run away to a hiding place and eat peacefully and then come back to wag a tail, some eat it hurriedly when they want more or if he is hungry.

cheers: Cheers to that lady in Cubbon park to feed so many dogs with care, sure she will have a big fan club comprising of 100s of dogs. She will be a super star in the dogs life!

reminds me of the day when i found 10 puppies at my house parking..one fine day.
They were so damn cute.
None to take care of them while we were away, i put them in a big box and the box went inside the gate, so they wont fell here n there.

As fate would have it, they went missing one by one..and now just one remains in our street.

A nice felling to give them milk twice a day was really good. They used to know when milk had arrived.

@M_S, that was sweet of you. The look of the pups in the first pic would have made anyone do something for these pups. But the way you did it - that 'dog house', all taped, the plastic sheet for protection, moving them to a drier spot - were definitely special.

@Quadra, looks like they have all been adopted by dog-lovers. Good for them.
