this has got to be the common fiero there for sure. this is a poormans good looking rich toy. with the right exhaust bought in india most of the people here will pass it off as a 355 for sure. i saw kitcar around i think 2 years back. truly good to see tons of people doing so much inhouse stuff all by themself. there was a real ferrari 355 once but engine was dead, so i think he put a mustang engine it in was for sale for around 15000$ good deal

F355 replicas are generally built around Pontiac Fieros. I have seen quite a few but dont look really that good. But i must admit the one in the picture is a job well done.

possible or it could also be an advertising gimmick where they are showing the actual ferrari in the pic and..thereby getting a better image.

no its obvious its the kit car, the tyre, wheel well relationship and the frankly terrible looking top attest to that.

Want to buy a fake Ferrari? Go to Sicily

Reuters
Thursday, February 28, 2008 20:39 IST

ROME: Italians are used to buying bogus Gucci bags or Rolex watches to look stylish but police found a new height of craftsmanship and cunning when they broke up a ring selling fake Ferrari cars for a fraction of the real price.
Police accused 15 people of building the blood red sports cars and selling them to car fanatics on a budget, most of whom knew they were buying a counterfeit classic.
Car body workers who police called ‘very able’ cobbled together mostly fake parts and a few original components. They used body parts from other makes of automobiles, such as chassis, roofs, hoods, trunks and doors. The body parts were modified to look like Ferrari classics.

haha..thats good news.
Takes some skill to be able to convert a Merc or a Toyota into a Ferrari. These guys could have used those skills elsewhere, where it would have been recognized. The only place they'll get some recognition now will be in jail.
