was in Spencer plaza for 3 days on some work. The amounts of discounts being offered was just mindblowing. There is a small vintage items shop on the third floor. Has anyone been there. I think called picadilly. Really wanted to pick up an old LP player from there.

As you drive towards City centre from Gemini flyover, you can see it on your right after Nilgiris/Saravana bhavan. Its a blue and silver fully clad building with an iStore at ground level.

Some more info.

From Gemini -> Take the Music academy flyover -> pass Nilgiris on the right -> AVM Rajeswari Kalyana Madapam on the right. Next is this building.

No U-Turn till HSBC bank on the left (or Standard chartered to your right) even in the Signal below the flyover. Then take the U-Turn, pass signal again and you have the store on the left side itself.

Thanks Josepeter & mjothi...
Today I went there , It was heavy rush in the evening. I think almost all good varieties sold out as they are just selling off surplus items..

I went to Reliance mart yesterday morning and bought more than what i was planning to coz of the cheap prices. Prices were real cheap but the quality is not all that bad.

Did you guys notice the mens trial room? First time i saw a trial room where 3 or 4 men were trying out the clothes in a single room

+1 to this sale.

Totally spent about 2,500.
Was not expecting to buy so much stuff.

Quality is quite decent and the rates too low.

Why don't they sell motorcycle tires.

And why dont they sell Alpine 9886 and GTO 1004 ?

I guess this is the time for the "End of the season Sale". Just waiting for Shoppers Stop now. But yes, I think a visit to this Reliance place should be worth it.

Thumbs up

On Arcot road, as you go from Vadapalani to Valasaravakam, there is a new Megamart store (complex) near to La Chatelaine school.
Guys, you might be knowing that it is mostly useless crap and old stuff that Megamart has, but since this is a newly opened store, the collections are quite new and good too with the usual hefty Megamart discounts. I had picked up stuff for around 3k when I had come to chennai for the weekend.
Do check it out. I feel it is good.
