Official Guess the Place Thread

Ours is a community of auto-enthusiasts who love to travel. Together all of us would have travelled the length and breadth of the country, seen some of the most beautifull, the most exotic and the most famous places around.

In this thread we can post photos of the places we have travelled and let the other memebrs rack their brains a bit and guess what place is it.

The rules can be simple:-

1. Please post pics taken by you only and not downloaded from the net.

2. There has to be some unique charecteristic or some other hint as to where the place is in the pic, just a pic of a mountain or a sunset wont be of much help.

3. Give serial number to the pics you post, it will be easier to correspond them to the answers.

4. Lets start with places in India and if you guys think International places also can be included, so be it.

Nice thread!

1. The following are a part of the himalayan foothills.

2. Pic#1 is a dead give-away.

Anyhow, clue#3 is: Close to the nearest, most popular hill-station from Delhi.

Let me make a guess:

Pic 2 is of the Kumbhalgarh Fort and Pic 3 is that of the Ranakpur Jain temples.

Yeah Gd Sir, You right. And the PIC 1 is of Shimla. I thought Shimla square pic would have been the easiest.

Never been to Shimla.... The closest to Shimla I went was to Kasauli..

@Nithinnarayan:- Is this in India?? With the flowers in the tree and barren mountains i presume its somewhere in the Zanskar valley.

You are almost close

. Its in Kargil Dist. This was taken by my friend on his biking trip to the Himalayas last year.
