Watched this movie. It's a nice story mostly told in a documentary fashion about the rise and fall of a Gangster in NY in 70's.

Joe Pesci won an academy award for this movie for best supporting actor and as usual, he was flamboyantly funny.

Rest of the cast too acted quite well.

3/5

Watched Babel this evening. There are four stories in the movie linked to a stray bullet hitting a foreign tourist. Non linear story telling enhances the cerebral pleasure of watching the movie. Special mention must be made about the actress playing the Mexican babysitter. The background score is also great and deservedly won the Oscar. The movie stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchet.

My rating: 4/5

I thought everybody would be very familiar with this movie. This was the movie that competed neck-to-neck with Lagaan for the Oscar award in 2002. However, both didn't get it. I have seen it many times since.

Had got butten by JUILA ROBERTS so

Stepmom: Good movie about the relationship between a stepmom and the daughter. Very nicely done up and good role by the daughter. Julia is good again. Lol dont curse me but i adore her
3.5/5

Pretty woman: Wow. SHe was one hell of a gal in this movie. Richard gere looks good and played his part. Alll the supporting actors in this movie did a splendid job. Julia is sweet, caring, and very innocent at heart in this. One of her best roles. Must watch.

Fav quote
Vivian: Baby, I'm gonna treat you so nice, you're never gonna wanna let me go.
Edward: Three thousand, for six days, and Vivian, I will let you go.

Rating: 4/5 The extra .5 for you know who

And now dont kill me but i also did watch

Days of thunder: Brilliant nascar movie with the life of a racer adn how he deals with ups and downs. They show that guys who love cars will go to do anything to help each other. Remember TBHP for that. Nice acting by Tom cruise and his race enngr. Well i dont know his name. The friend of Tom cruise does his role well and i loved the scene where they race rentals on the beach. Wow. SPlashing water makes it look like wind tunnel testing.
Rating: 3.5/4 Must watch

Checked out a couple of movies last week

Meet the Fockers Starring Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman etc.

Story continues from Meet the Parents and this time the young couple wants their parents to meet over a weekend. Ben's parents turn out to be loud mouth and gross people compared to the girl's parents who are the epitome of conservativeness. This envokes some laughs.

However, i liked the previous edition and thought this one was too vulgar and cheap to generate laughter

2.5/5

State of Play Starring Russel Crowe and Ben Affleck

Crowe is a journalist and Ben is a congressman and both happen to be friends as well. This story is about Crowe investigating a murder of a young woman that links the congressman.

Taut Story, great acting by entire cast made this one good thriller. However, feel sad to see Russell Crowe look so haggard and overweight.

Must Watch

4/5
