The Untouchables-

The Untouchables (1987)

Its a must watch if you liked Godfather series.
Superb acting and direction. A nice classic imo.

Kevin Costner- must be his early days and can be seen the potential.
Sean Connery- Amazing screen presence and treat to watch.
Andy Garcia-Not much of a role but imprssive nonetheless.

Rating- 4.5/5

+1. Agree. However, you missed mentioning about the crazy Al Capone a.k.a Robert De Niro who was superb too.

Can't forget this dialogue which led to many variations later.

Somebody messes with me, I'm gonna mess with with him.

One of my favourite movies. The background score by Ennio Morricone is amazing and contributes to the atmosphere of the movie. Some of my favourite scenes are the ones in the railway station, the scene at the border near the bridge and the scene in the courtroom. The way the music is used to build the tension is awesome.
Loved Robert Di Nero as Al Capone. I hear that Brian De Palma has been trying to make a prequel to the movie called "The Untouchables : Capone Rising" for a long time now, but shooting hasn't started for the movie yet.

Also, the characters Capone and Elliot Ness are real people, although the rest of the characters and story is mostly fictional. Ness didn't actually capture Capone in real life as shown in the movie.

Carlito's Way (1993) , This is the second Al Pacino movie I watched in recent weeks directed by Brian De Palma, the earlier being Scarface (1983) , both of which are not disappointing at all!

Al Pacino plays another Latin American ex-gangster, whose plans to go clean arent exactly working out the way he wants them to be.
A nice watch.

3.5/5 , though I prefer them in Scarface.

watched 'Taking Chance' starring Kevin Bacon. Its based on a true story of PFC Chance Phelps of USMC who was killed in action in Ramadi, Iraq and his last journey home escorted by Mike Strobl (Kevin Bacon)

Its a must watch.

The name of this movie is 'ALIVE'

The beauty of this movie is that one of the crash survivor served as the technical advisor for the film.

Yes, it's ALIVE

Its the story of a Argentina football (??) team travelling for a match and their plane crashes on top of a snow capped mountain. How they survive ( including eating the dead team members to stay ALIVE) is the gist of the story. Its really a sad movie.

I own a DVD of this movie.

saw the movie Resident evil 3D. The movie having some resemblance of 'matrix'
The brightness of 3D projection increased very much than 'Avatar'. Overall it is an average movie, But worth the ticket charge
