| Saw Prometheus. They just teased the audience with Q without much of an answer. But was interesting nevertheless. Last edited by vij : 16th June 2012 at 12:08. |

| The Raid: Redemption (Indonesian film): Non stop action, martial arts, mild gory stuff, decent premise for a story but there is no story as such, stunts are done well, just the kind of movie for a martial arts fan. 3.5/5 |

| Madagascar 3. Saw today at PVR ambience mall Gurgaon. Great moive, must watch if you like animated stuff. The movie was fun all the way. Though I feel 3 D experience varies from hall to hall, this was among the best I have experienced. All in all a great one. |

| Senior - BHPian | Watched the following: Madagascar 3 Good animated stuff and the 3D was definitely better than most movies. But the story line was slightly stale compared to previous versions. But definitely watchable and would be loved by kids/adults alike. Rating: 3.5/5 Contraband Mark Wahlberg starring action thriller wherein Wahlberg is an ex-smuggler. Slick and fast, its one time watch. Rating:3/5 Safe House This is the movie I got the most disappointed with. Starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, I expected a good story line with power packing performances. The performances are there but the storyline which has been repeatedly done by Hollywood pulls it down. This movie could have been much more. Rating: 3.25/5 |

| Saw Sherlock Holmes - A Game of Shadows. Bit late but... I loved the first part and was hoping that its not overdone like most of the sequels. But it wasn't. I love the way the story makes you think and try to solve along or before Sherlock does, at least I do. Dr. Watson has better role than in the first movie and he has done a great job. I ll be seeing the first part again and hopefully on my TV. AGOS was a Xvid file and Bravia supports Xvid but some how this file didn't play! 3.5/5 Next - Project X |

| Team-BHP Support ![]() | Watched " Rock of Ages" starring Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin After Grease this movie can be termed as a proper musical where dialogues are lesser than songs. All characters just break into a song at the drop of a hat and since this movie is completely with English subtitles it will bound to have the audience sing along ( which i did for most of the songs) Movie's introduction song is simply fantastic and sets up the pace but, later on slows down considerably at some places and also has a couple of uncessary songs. Story is of leading couple who come to LA from their respective small towns to make it big and that will happen at the "Bourbon Room" owned by Alec Baldwin ( in a good cameo role) and Tom Cruise stars as an accentric rock-god Stacey Jaxx who is supposed to perform at Bourbon Room. Alec Baldwin ask his Manager ( Paul Giamatti)" You guys are early for the show". Paul winks and tells Alec " I told Stacey he is a day late and thats how i could make him turn up for the show . There are quite a few witty one-liners to make you laugh here and there.Tom Cruise seems to have been inspired by a lot of rockstars like Steven Tyler, Axle Rose etc and played his role to perfection. The lead couple also acted fantastic and complimented entire movie beautifully. This movie has many popular songs like a) Paradise City b) Pour Some Sugar on Me c) Dead or Alive d) Some other famous songs from Poison, Foreigner etc Overall, if you love rock music which i do, you will throughly enjoy this movie. Sadly, there were only 6 people in entire theatre. 3.5/5 |

| Project X - Two words - Please watch What a wicked movie. Great soundtracks too. P.S - People do party this way in US minus the ending part and is this really based on true story of Australian party icon Corey Delaney? |

| Saw the latest trailer of 'The Dark Knight Rises', and Nolan is at it again. Awesome and mind blowing 2 mins! A month more to go before its release. Last edited by GTO : 23rd June 2012 at 13:27. Reason: Adding the movie's full name. Not everyone knows what TDKR is :) |

| BHPian | has anybody watched "The Dictator" yet? I've been waiting for this movie to release in India since beginning of this year but PVR seems to have cancel their plans to release it. Is the DVD out yet? Or is it available on Netflix, etc.? |

| Yes, I've watched Dictator. Not as good as Borat, but the movie is good enough, with jokes on the similar lines of what you heard in Borat (racist/jews/sexist, etc). The DVD will be out in September and I don't think this movie will pass the censor board if they want to show it in Indian theaters. Last edited by Eddy : 22nd June 2012 at 21:15.
