Edit : oops: Just saw mobike has already posted.

But yeah looked like it was not an act, but you never know with these guys. The kind of things done on TV just to gain TRPs are really wierd these days.
Was an act which somehow culminated with NNM going up on the stage and breaking eggs on SRK and CN. Could not make head or tails of the entire concept. Since their initial appearance a couple of years ago which was tightly scripted the proceeding years presentations including this year's have been a damp squib compounded by the fact that Kat's performance was heavily edited by the jerk responsible for the tv version.

Yes I too think it was planned. Because Nitin Mukesh was smiling while this was happening. Also I dont think anybody can dare say such words to SRK in front of everyone, especially when this guy is a newbie. Remeber what happened to Vivek Oberoi?

Also if this was real it would have featured in mags & papers which didn't happen(Ashutosh's Gowarikars outburst was well discusses IIRC)

Watched Road to Sangam this evening. Though rather preachy, it is a likeable movie with a strong performance by Paresh Rawal. A Ford V8 engine, of 1940s make, has an important role in the movie.

Watched Kurbaan last night; what a sheer crap, "beating about the bush" storyline; worn out plot on terrorism and not so impressive performances.

Guys, give it a miss.

My Rating: 2/5

@mobike008:

Sorry for your disappointment but couldn't help writing it as I didn't want a fellow bhpian sitting through a "torture".

Just a suggestion: Please go and watch 'Thanks Maa'. Its a masterpiece, and one that'll definitely move you. Although less publicized, but the production quality and acting is top-notch. And after the screening, you'll surely walk upto your mother and thank her. ;-)

Saw Athithi Tum Kab Jaoge

This movie is exactly what the promos said, a light hearted comedy where the theme or script itself is funny. Its not rib tickling (except for the first song/aarti ) But its funny & makes you smile. Great performances by everyone.

My Rating 3.5/5

Just came back from KCK.

Farhaan Akhtar is either trying to go the way of the B grade American movies or he is inspired by what Jodie Foster has done as a producer director actor. A couple of more movies from him will clear this up.

Also caught Road in the middle of the week. No doubt about this one, movie by Shyam Benegal purely for the various film festivals in Europe, Japan and elsewhere.

A friend who was with me termed it as a coming out film for the Director. Coming out with all his unfulfilled fantasies that is, like not having driven in the desert or anywhere for that matter and not being able to have romp with someone you have just met. Interesting observations!
