Default Please Help. 2006 Baleno Lxi Invoice required

Hi All,

I am trying to re register my 2006 Baleno LXi bought in AP (Hyderabad) here in chennai. I am told that I need the invoice for this. Unfortunately, I don't have my invoice with me. On talking to the dealer (Mithra Agencies) I am being told that their systems have changed and I am being made to run around.

I was hoping if someone with a 2006 Baleno Lxi could give me a copy of their invoice. I learnt from the RTO office that they need the invoice to know the value of the vehicle at the time of purchase. I am not even being given a quotation by the Maruti dealers as the car is no longer in production.

Anyone with a 2006 Baleno Lxi, please help me with a copy of the invoice. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Dwarak

Have you checked with RTO if this is ok, invoice of another vehicle (though same make and model)? And wont they need the invoice of the same model from Hyderabad to ascertain the value?

I know of atleast two 2006 Baleno Lxi owners in Chennai.
I'll PM you their number. Please call them up sometime tomorrow. I'm not sure if they'd entertain a call at 10 PM.

Is this really required? when i re-registered in TN , the RTO did not ask for KL invoice. ..or maybe the broker took care of it

RTO has become much more strict these days narayan. I think supremeBaleno's baleno is 2006 lxi.

The original sales invoice is very much required - an alternate would be the dealer price list as on that date (if somebody is as finicky as me to maintain such pamphlets). Hyderabad prices only, because that was originally paid.

I completed registration of my Petra recently.I had to give them the invoice of my car from AutomartIndia and in addition I gave them printout of Hindu's online edition page from 2004 which quoted the ex-showroom price of Petra 1.6EL during its launch in Chennai.

Get a Price certificate from any Maruti dealer for a 2006 Baleno. I am sure every Maruti dealer would have sold a Baleno in 2006. I managed to get a price certificate for a 1998 CL340 from the Mahindra dealer for the registration.

Update:

Thanks to all for your replies and pointers. I was able to get a price quote from Hindu online(maruti had reduced the baleno prices in march 2006 and that was published in the Hindu) and have submitted that. This has also been accepted. Now am in the waiting period when the documentation has to go to AP RTO office and come back.

Dwarak
