Surprise, you are surprising us too much... first you had a thread about buying Zen or Santro, then a thread about buying second hand OHC or new Wagonr... now you have a thread about selling (?) an old OHC...

totally confusing...

Let me explain here:

I was waiting for a loooooooong time to buy one used OHC. I saw around 12 garbages with "H" Logo on it, except a few, which does not fit into budget. From there I moved to buying Zen Vxi.

On a casual discussion, a guy working in my office in a different department said that he was in confusion, whether to go for a used Honda City or a New wagon-R. I warned him that it is difficult to get a quality used HONDA CITY with this Rs.4 Lakhs budget. Still he is not convinced, there I recommended him to our site.

In our office set up, there was a centralized system, only where external access is permitted. This system was connected to a higher bandwidth internet leased line connection.

Everytime I do not log out after using Team-Bhp & log on details will be in the cache. This guy registered with Team-Bhp & posted something (Holymen) and the post got deleted ( not within our rules and regulation).

He got frustrated (without knowing the proper reason) & posted two other post without knowing that it was going in my account. This has created a lot of confusion, which was explained to the moderators.

Hope this is clear.

One of the consultant who used to help me in my hunt to find a good Honda City has called me this morning & given this lead. I told him that I am for Zen or Swift. He was pushing me to take a look at the car, which I do not want to, as there are chances that I will spoil the mood of my the family with not selecting, what I had promised (new small car)

This is an excellent find by the consultant & will be hot cake in Chennai, if it comes to the Market.

This is certainly a premium price. Here in Chennai the demand for OHC is very high. It is fair to have the pricing for this car at 4.4 L. The seller expects some premium because of Low mileage and other accessories fitted to it. The other important factor is the non availability of quality used Honda cars.

Based on my experience, If Iam the buyer, I will try to negotiate with the seller ( though he rules out the negotiation) & get the car between 4.55 to 4.65 L. This price is fine or else think the other 10K as additional premium and pick the car.

VTECH can be purchased at this rate, but where do you find a seller?

Atleast in Mumbai vtecs are going at that rate. However for all those accesories you hardly get the price. I did get hardly on my NHC. Went normal rate with the accesories..

My calculation for those accessories is Rs.15K extra. 5K for each leather seats, 12 CD changer and Alloy wheels.

Once fitted and you sale it. That's the value for it.

Okay it all depends on the buyers point of view. For a buyer who feels that Alloys are just luxury & if he is not for that, his pricing would be different from the buyer who loves to have a Alloys fitted.

By the way, what happened to your friend, who wants to take a look at this vehicle

Exactly my point as well.. an enthusiast wont want to pay for alloys since he would want to upgrade to wider and bigger tyres and a normal buyer wouldnot care about alloys..
