Car is back into the garage for the following additions:

1) Intercooler
2) BOV
3) boost fuel pressure solenoid

also felt the need to redo a bit of the suspension as it was floating on high speeds (Damn why does it even have to power up on the 5th gear), so am on a wild stock esteem for the next couple of days till I get the baby back. (Rudra "Help" I need to stop overdoing the mods...)

Look who is talking...

I know, I know you will say I go to the garage not to repair the car but to tinker around

havent you been after the Amby lock stock and barrel for over 10yrs to get it running right ??? I have at least been tinkering for about 2 yrs now... what say Jaggu (at least one sensible man to buy and maintain a stock car).

DOLLY...........................

drat just experienced blow by on my engine ... next step new ring's ... learning don't turbo a high milage engine unless you have good pistons and ring's and no other leaks anywhere else.(Was using the original bottom half that came with the car which had done about 90000 km before the turbo project ... didnt want to blow the better block)

Somtimes I think psycho is not happy with a running car, so he creates problems onpurpose to give him an excuse to get back under the hood !! Is that true?

Well I dont create problems ... however am looking at better options like anyone else who wants performace on their vehicles.

As for the conti a few points:

1) No respectable tuner in India would have worked on it
2) Most cost effective methods to perfect new techniques on mods
3) At least am not trying stuff out on other's cars

From day one that I came on to the forum I have sorta used the threads to maintain a diary of what has been happening on the car and trust me the experience has been phenomenal. Especially as I have been off mods on any vehicle for over 10 years... and it has been a sudden shift from 2 wheelers to 4.

I know I happen to have an esteem at home but dont seem to work on it at all and have been doing many projects on and off... However who wouldnt remember a conti that smoked them rather than the esteem that I have been working on and it even won in a drag and no one bother's as it is just another esteem.

Rudra you have to agree with me on having maintained your car so well over the decades ... havent you wanted performance and an amazing car to drive, but at the same time you aren't willing to try something till you know it works and I just try and make it work so that other's can benefit from my experiences what's wrong with that...

Damn I wish I was a bit richer then even I would be talking about an RS being done up by a tuner and a couple of w series in my backyard but as luck would have it I have to survive with a wooden spoon and wait till next month till I can get the conti back on the road (when will the sal come to the account) and build "Patch Mobiles" to satisfy my need for more power and the car I have dreamed so long to own ("conti")
