Indra - Amazing garage dude! To maintain all these beauties also requires some effort I guess. Do pen down some reviews on your cars.[]

Exclamation Envious garage space!

I've always drooled over many a well kept and stocked personal garage, some pure and simple with a sole machine adorning an empty space to shelves, walls and tables oozing with all sorts of automobile memrobilia!

To kickstart the sharing, Here's one that i've always loved! I know, it's old news, however worthy enough to start of this thread!

Holger Schubert : Ferrari 512BBi

Holger Schubert has a problem. No, itís not that some drunk Ferrari owner drove his car into Holgerís house- that 512BBi belongs to him. His problem isnít finding accessories to go with his home decor, as the place is done up in various shades of white. No, Mr. Schubert has a problem with his neighbors. You see, they donít like the fact that he built a bridge from the street to his hillside home in Brentwood so he could park his Ferrari in his living room.

So you have a car and when you move from the place, your either sell the car or take it with you. But in all probability, would leave the garage behind. But no, we took the car and the garage also along with us when we moved from Assam to Kerala.

This garage was conceptualised by my Dad for our M800 when we bought it in 1985. A year later when we moved to Kerala, the car got to fly, while the garage was disassembled (it is put together by nuts/bolts) and shipped via railway wagon and re-assembled in Kerala. Given that rains are more in Kerala, the roof slope was altered (which really screwed up the looks). We sold the 800, but it housed the next M800 we bought and currently the Swift and is still going strong after 28 years.

This is the driveway which is also used for parking.

Another view, in which behind the M800, you can see the assemblable garage.

And this is where I park the Baleno in Chennai. Reminds me more of a stable-row than a car parking.

My Parking space, just close to my home. I am planning to make a inspection pit, with lighting and washing facility inside itself.

Yes, that's the newest addition. Have been thinking of posting a review for sometime now, but got delayed due to plain laziness. Hopefully soon.
