Greatest Hindi Comedy - Team-BHP

Taking inspiration from my poll on DCETECH, i thought of why not have the same poll here.

So which one of the above you think deserves the "best comedy ever" of Hindi Cinema?

Andaaz Apna Apna (if it's the Salman Khan - Aamir Khan movie you're talking about).

Hera Pheri comes a close 2nd.

why isnt any kishore kumar movie included????

the recently released Mumbai express was also funny.

watched kya kool hain hum recently loved it and at last ekta kapoor has delivered a hit anyways like mujhse shaadi karoge and masti but priyadarshan is the comedy king

Though I've thoroughly enjoyed all the films mentioned above, "Jane Bhi Do Yaaro" is the one that, according to me, stands out.
And as we're discussing Hindi comedy, I think Paresh Rawal has been absolutely superb in his films.

Yup...Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron.....its a classic....fav scene...the climax Mahabharat....simply superb...

Well...for me it would be Aawara Paagal Deewana. It has some really senseless jokes and I remember laughing my @** out when I saw it first!

For me its Bombay To Goa .... what a movie I have seen it so many times but i dont get bored

Well, I voted for JBDY, but Pushpak was one hell of a movie. For all those who dont know about it, it was a totally silent movie (the only silent movie i have ever seen). Kamal Hassan was wonderful with his acting, and though the film was full of sarcasm, it had its moments sorrow as well.
Its a kind of fusion of comedy+tragedy. The tragic scenes bring tears to your eyes, whereas in lighter scenes, you cant stop laughing.

Sure there are many movies that make you laugh,cry, and feel a range of other emotions but cant think of a single hindi movie that made me think!

Its very difficult to choose from given options, considering also that I only watch Comedy Hindi movies.

I voted for Others
Its Angoor for me. Just love that movie.

Rest of my favorite are (not in order) : Janebhi Do Yaaro, Andaaz Apna Apna, Awara Pagal Deewana, Hera Pheri, Munnabhai MBBS
surpricingly No Govinda's "so called" comedy movies
