Thumbs up

This was my 2002 Bolero that i sold in 2008. Still regret selling it.

Did some subtle mods like Brake lamp clusters, Alloys and Front seats replacement.

@chaxy, nice looking Bolero. I got the same design alloys....inspired by you.

This has been a long standing question.
From where did you source the seats?
Were they branded?
Were they custom made?
Were they more comfortable than the original ones...with enough support?

I'm sure there are many others in this forum waiting for these answers.
In the name of Bolero Brotherhood, please....

I had bought those seats from a dealer who sells imported used bucket seats in Vijayawada town. It was in 1999 when diesel conversions were in vogue.I bought those for my modified padmini for Rs8K. Later when i bought my bolero in 2002 i replaced the original seats with these seats. The upholstry was completely removed from old seats and stitched like new. The seats were extremely comfy compared to the OEM bolero seats which are very bad. In fact the guy who bought my bolero paid a premium just for those seats & Alloys

I even toyed with the idea of fitting them in my Safari but found OEM seats of safari to be too good.

Thanks @chaxy. They sure looked comfortable.
Bolero does need some work in the upholstery dept.

Arrow Long Time No See

Hi Guys
Yeah well i think the chrome's got to go but i need the visors as the bolero dont come with no de-fogger and so i have to leave alittle of the windows open. Also The Mud flaps are an extrs 3.5" sheet metal with a rubber top so that i dont have the road thrach inside my bolero!!! The tyres are really big. I had to catually cut the front fendors 3 inches or else it would hit my mud guard. I need the tyres as in Sikkim there are a lot of land and rock slides so sometimes.. just sometimes why take the longer route? just jump over them lol. Yeah and im surprised you guys didnt notice the actuall antique brake lights straight out of the CJ5!! Ads more character to my bolero.
