What a horrible and pointless death! I wish the culprits die an even worse death!

@ Dueller: Do bring the culprits to task. All the best! Keep us updated.

Sincere condolences to both the families. Thank you for putting down your phone number, however, it would be convenient if the number was added in your original post as many members might not read every page in the thread. Will be on the lookout for damaged Accents in my area. Hope that the culprit/s are taught a thing or two about justice...

Wow I have a difficult time reading such posts. They play havoc with my psyche.

I see many, many victims of accidents of all sorts coming into the casualty ward of our hospital, and a majority of them occur on Palm Beach Rd. I call that road the road of death even though I use it a minimum of twice a day in my commute.

I am appalled that people continue to be so irresponsible and have such little value for someone's life. They are too busy saving their own gluts to be bothered about even reporting such a case!

Alas such events have been witnessed by me many a time, allowing me the opportunity to help the wounded. I have lost count of the amount of money I've spent on cleaning products to get blood stains out of my car, all because some jack-gluteus maximus was in a hurry.

Either way I'll keep vigil for said car, I hope that you and your family can get through this tough time.

God Bless his Soul.
DocG

PS: I hope people will learn to be a bit more careful from now on. It's not about how well we drive or ride, it's about the 100s of other motorists out there! They're the ones we should fear. (Provided we don't give them reason to fear us!)
