Thanks for the clarification. I have explored bird photography until I understood what is involved in it. Olympus becomes too expensive at ultra-telephoto end. And one needs lots of patience to sit in the garden for long duration until the bird feel comfortable around you.

Thank you. I have been paying attention to the stuff you told me a while ago about capturing bird shots. Nice to know you liked them.

One more from the series.

Good one. I am glad that you are keeping those pointers in mind. And i bet you will agree the fact that, it has improved a lot in terms of your Bird Photography. I can see the change.

You can tell that again, the highest compo being 300 f 2.8 + EC-20 converter and it is unbelievably expensive. They do not have a good mid range cheaper lens. Look at the images of redrage. I agree that 80% credit goes to his skills, at the same time look at the beautiful Contast by 100-400

Thanks

@Redrage
Lovely KFs!

@Sreerajunnithan
Yeah, like I had mentioned before, I never previously looked at shooting birds. You seemed to have thrown in a new area of interest for me! Thanks!

None in the league posted here. Here are a few of mine:

The owl in particular is a favourite. Found her (I assumed it was a female ) stranded outside our gate when she was a chick. Took her in, built a small house for her and fed her shredded chicken with a pair of tweezers.

The best day in my life, probably hers too, was when I was convinced she could fly and fend for herself and set her free.

She comes to visit us occasionaly

Cheers,

Rajan

@Redrage, Sreerajunnithan
Please tell us what camera and lenses you are using. These are very professional shots.

Guna, it is the lens that matter, even the most basic dSLR would do. Sreeraj and Redrage have 50-500mm and 100-400mm respectively. And then you need infinite patience, understanding of the behavior of that bird, it's natural habitat, etc, etc.
