Why is it that, the image from flickr is displaying correct colors then?

Also I have been using the same browsers for last 2 months, and I never had an issue!

I think you can post your questions here.

IE8 - Both with wrong colors - IE8 ignores your AdobeRGB embedded color profile and both gets displayed in sRGB gamut.

Firefox - tbhp image in wrong colors - I assume the embedded colorspace info is lost once the tbhp server compresses the image - so even colorsapce aware latest FF will use sRGB. Same is the case with Safari.

You said you never had an issue before - so may be you can try this out -

1) Get one of your old images (AdobeRGB) from flickr, upload it in team bhp now and see how it looks in latest FF or Safari. I think that also should look different than your flickr version. Are they?

2) Also check out one of your older images uploaded several months back in tbhp and flickr - are they looking same or different in latest FF?

Please post the results, we will together try to find out where the problem is..

Ok I just check out something. My new images, seem to have a color space called "ProPhoto". But in my camera I have Adobe RGB. Adobe RGB is working just fine. Its the profoto thats creating the issue. So actually, I messed up in lightroom while exporting I had accidentally changed my colorspace there to Prophoto!

Thanks for your valuable help clevermax.

Regards,
TG.

You're welcome TG. Since you told you are using AdobeRGB, I was going to guess that due to some recent software update of the forum software or some settings change in tbhp image upload server component, it is deleting the stored colorspace information from the uploaded images.

Now it's somewhat clear why this happens - the colorspace 'Prophoto' might not be known to the tbhp server image upload component so it defaults the information to sRGB while it compresses the image.

@guy on black ybx: That's one of its kind! A tractor panning shot!!
It was an obsessive compulsive expansion of your name because otherwise I always tend to read it as 'guy on blacky box'

Low turnout at meet on 14th feb allowed me some spare time for panning shots. 'King_julian' was patiently standing while I clicked these pictures, he even burned some fuel for my trial shots. Thanks mate!
