Here is another one. An aircraft about to land at the Heathrow airport. I was waiting at my hotel room window with 70-300 lens hoping to capture one landing. I think it was clicked some half a second too early or else i would have got the entire tail as well in the frame. I had to act fast or else I wouldn't have managed even this. This has been PPed to bring it to this brightness level and color tone as the actual shot was too under exposed. But I was left with no choice but to try for and under exposed shot as the sun was setting fast and my Sony A300's low light capabilities were nothing to write home about. The Official Theme Photography Thread: Festival Spirit-theme-photography-thread-action-2.jpg

Thanks TG. Could have done the composition better, but my focus was to get the pic immediately and had to take it over peoples shoulders.

@UKR: Beautiful shot of the jumbo jet! Well I too was sitting in a hotel room one day evening near LHR airport and I was just looking at the planes landing. I had my camera but no zoom lens during that trip.

Hey guys, I need advice here. @Mods: If this post is in the wrong thread, please move to the appropriate one.
I am planning a trip to Leh in July and was looking for a wide angle pocket mega zoom camera. After visiting several forums on the internet I got confused big time. So after weighing all pros and cons I finally bought the Canon Power Shot SX210 IS. Need your inputs on this one. The camera has a lot of options and I am a novice when it comes to photography. Is there any place in Bangalore where one can get like a crash course in photography. I heard Canon offer training centers. This was told to me by the lady at the Singapore Changi Airport where I bought it. They have these centers in Singapore. Any idea where in Bangalore is the Canon center which provides assistance to use such cameras?
help!!

TG.

Lovely shot and colors, like TG already mentioned, the tail should have been in frame .
