Just plug in audio output cable from cassate player to Line In in computer and than record it in windows default sound recorder or jet audio.

I'm a huge fan of Jagjit Singh..I love his ghazals..!
Face to Face, Insight etc.. simply amazing albums!

I missed a chance to see him live in Houston.. I was studying in Ohio in 2004, and his concert was a couple of weeks before I moved to Houston..

Waiting for the next chance, though..

He's the best...

You may be better off using Audacity, the free (free as in FREEdom) audio recorder cum converter cum editor:-

"Har taraf har jagah, beshumar aadmi; fir bhi tanhaiyon ka shikaar aadmi"

Ahh, Jagjit Singh! Along with Chitra Singh, he formed one of the best duet pairs I have ever heard. Most people are familiar with only their film songs, but IMO, their album "Beyond Time" is right at the very top of their achievements, both in terms of lyrics and melody. Unfortunately, the version I have is on tape, and has deteriorated in quality as it's quite old now. If anyone in Pune has this album on CD (MP3 or Audio) or knows where to get one, please do let me know.

Cheers,
Vikram

I am a big fan of JS. I have seen one live concert with him along with Gulam Ali 3 years back. Awesome.
I was having a good CD full of MP3 Ghazals but recently it was broken and I didn't had the backup

And my Fav lines from this gazel are:-

"Mere haatho ke chaho to talashi le lo,
Mere haathon main lakiron ke sivay kuch bhi nahi"

"Humne dekha hai kai aaise khudaao ko yahan,
Saamne jinke wo sachmuch ka khuda kuch bhi nahi"

I think i remember each and every line from aleast 90% of his collection.
