A31:

As far as I know, the XJ220's engine was originally the Metro 6R4's engine. It was modified and then put in the XJ220.
I think the XJR10/11 used diffrent engines, Im not sure. But I am sure the same engine ( with a few changes) was used in the 6R4 and XJ220, and thats the answer I wanted.

What about A27???? Come on, if you dont know, then hopefully Stratos must be knowing!!!

Waiting for your answer to A27, guys!!!

Correct. Tom Walkinshaw modified and used this engine in the XJR10 and later modified it further for use in the XJ220.

Ok Ill try and revive this thread.

A32:
Name the man known popularly in motoring circles as "Mr. GTR".

Ok, three Mclaren-related questions now.......

A33:
The Mclaren F1 which set the 241 mph record was known widely by its chassis number. What was this alphanumeric name?

A34:
How many Mclaren F1 GT's were made?

A35:
Who did Gordon Murray originally request to make the engine for the Mclaren F1?? ( they refused, and he went to BMW after that)

(Stratos, please wait for some time )
