| I am not sure about there, but such buses are plying in Maharashtra for long time. (At least last 5 years or even more). Have travelled a few times in such buses and I must say, they are absolutely comfortable. One should try to avoid upper birth though. With body roll at high speeds, it becomes particularly uncomfortable.

we have around 80 sleeper coaches in HYD based travel companies itself around 20 go to Shirdi , around 20 leave for Mumbai n around 10 leave for Bangalore , around 5 leave for Tirupathi and Visakhapatnam each and others go on other routes ... they accomodate around 20 passengers ... i did travel in them twice to Shirdi ...

| BANNED | yeah, the sleeper buses have become very common. but the first buses that i did see was on the maharshtra-rajasthan/gujarat route.but its really frightening to travel in them with their high CG's now have been seeing a lot ofsleeper coach b7r's from pune to rajasthan |
