don't know much , but it is always better to get a stock car and modify it then , its extremely risky to buy an opened up car as you won't really know much of he history then .
and have even read somewhere on the forum that it is safer to do up a 1.5 city than a vtec .
good luck with your search though .
manson .

i understand what you are trying to say but as manson has already said.its better to buy a stock car and then modify it as you dont know what its gone through.it could have had a mojor accident before the new body kit was put or its chassi could be damaged and is probably hidden with all the external modifications.

also when some one mods their car they tend to push it to the limit very often which is bad for the engine.so if you are still in the look out for a pre modified car be ready for a lot of surprises.

a stock v tech would be good but you will have to look around but will be a little expensive.
best of luck with your search and let us know what your friend finally gets
