Yesterday I was caught by the unruly/ uncouth/rowdy Mob (About 100 of them) on Uttaralli - Mysore road on my way back home. Most of them in the mob were fully drunk and were in no way fans of Dr. Vishnu. They broke my car's left side mirror and were about to break the windshield. Somehow I pleaded and managed to escape. Police were there and watching this whole episode and could do nothing. Sad state of police enforcement in Bangalore. Will it ever improve?

Coincidence ?
While APTHAMITHRA movie was made, movie heroin Soundarya died.
Now APTHARAKSHAKA movie is made , movie hero Vishnuvardhan is no more.
Anything to do with APTHA ?? Both the movies are directed by P. Vasu

Heard of this yesterday morning when we were about to leave from Marvanthe Beach. Really big loss. The Kannada film industry has no more living legends with Vishnu's passing on.

It seems the cast of the movie Aptharakshaka had spooky experiences while filming (according to today's Bangalore Times)

Another veteran actor Ashwath has breathed his last this morning. My sincere condolances. I hope the people control their emotions this time.
Should I warn my wife about this and ask her not to go to office or is it ok ?

Ashwath was a character actor, mostly playing dad for Rajkumar or Vishnu.

Sad to hear about his demise. But he never had any rabid fan following, don't expect any major unrest.

May his soul rest in peace, its too sad to see this happening to the Kannada film industry. Reminds me of the movie "Nagarahavu"

May Ashwath's soul rest in peace.
He was a very good Character Actor indeed.
Ironically both Vishnu, Ashwath died in Mysore.
Both of them have done may movies as Father(ashwath) son (vishnu) duo.

Another brilliant theater person Chindodi Leela Passed away Yesterday.
She Holds a record for longest running stage show(Nataka), Policena Magalu. Has done more than 4500 shows till date it seems.
May her soul rest in Peace.
In a Span of 20 odd days Karnataka has lost 4 invaluable persons from entertainment industry.
C Ashwath
Vishnuvardhan
K S Ashwath
Chindodi Leela
