Aaah, there you are, I was waiting for someone to mention wraith. How could someone miss that movie, full of american muscle, not like girly cars in fast n furious. I would any day stay with the pure american muscle than be ever seen beside a japanese souped up girl. The very thought of the V8 sound makes my hair stand up behind my neck. Vroooomm vroooomm.

I think he means the 1986 movie "The Wraith" starring Charlie Sheen. More info at The Wraith (1986)

Vanishing Point: The 1971 original starring Barry Newman and a white 1970 Dodge Challenger. There was also a remake released in 1997 starring Viggo Mortensen and a white 1971 Dodge Challenger with a love story thrown in for added drama.. Who says only Bollywood masalafies movies?

F&F Tokyo Drift: Good for bling bling Jap drift culture. Although most of the filming was done within the US, including the parking lot races. Absolutely love the soundtrack of the Vielside Mazda RX-7 (Driven by Han).

Initial D: Awesome touge driving. Not entirely faithful to the anime though. Since I started watching this series, my respect for Toyota has gone up by a few floors. (Not that I detested Toyota before, only it didn't seem as exciting as Honda or Nissan)

Days of Thunder: Worth watching for real NASCAR action, and the Daytona 500. Too much rubbing ain't racing though, people who have seen the movie will know what I mean.

Others the usual stuff, Gone in 60 seconds, the CannonBall Run (I saw the Hindi dubbed version on Star Gold long time back) The Fast and the Furious: Dominic Torreto's Charger is worth killing for.

Chase scenes have already been discussed in detail: The best IMO is Ronin, seconded by The Bourne Identity followed by The Blues Brothers.

The Redline crash didn't seem a gimmick to me; atleast when I saw this video; unless it was a Toyota MR2 underneath a Ferrari Bodyshell. (Again, no offence meant to Toyota owners and enthusiatics)

Steven Spielberg - Duel (1971)
Not so much about cars but about driving. Amazing thriller - a must watch.
This is the movie that marked a turning point in SS' career.

Wink Herbie?

1. Herbie Reloaded
2. Herbie Goes Crazy

Really liked these two

Others:
Transporter I (BMW) & II (Audi)
Gone in 60 Seconds
Ronin
Transformers! Love Bumble Bee / Camaro and the villain Ford Mustang
[Actually drove a 2007 Mustang - No wonder they call it a Muscle car.. Really missing the grunt of the engine....]
