" MY COUSIN VINNY"
Its not a typical car movie with chases / racing, but those who've seen it might appreciate.
cheers:

I don't know how that skipped my mind, the best part of this flick is when Marisa Tomei takes the stand, and how she is proven fit to give testimony and further gives her findings on the car and the skid marks... simply wonderful... let me see if I can dig up some of those quotes.

The Greatest Automobile Movie I have seen is, Mad Max 2 - The Road Warrior !!!

The stunning scenes include the climax, which features a heart-pounding chase scene involving an oil tanker-truck and a frenzied rush for the coast. This is best seen than described .

Here is the list of vehicle used Mad Max 2 (Road Warrior) Vehicles

BTW, many consider it the 'The most influential genre movie of recent years'.

Here is the movie script http://www.scifiscripts.com/scripts/madmax2.txt

RONIN

Though the chase scene was only 6-8mins, It sure qualifies for a all time hit.
