Thumbs down Disgusting Japanese whaling

As if Japan's dirty whale hunt every year under the pretext of scientific research isn't enough, here's a Japanese whaler ramming and sinking an environmental acitivist group's boat. Unbelievable! As if killing whales in the thousands for the meat wasn't enough, they start attacking other boats? I'm so pissed off with this

Shocking video. Another pic is Japanese whaling ship, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society boat collide in clash off Antarctica.

Is there no law applicable in the antarctica - no man's land ?

Aren't there some laws in international waters? And surely, ramming another boat can't be acceptable because the crew of the Ady Gil could have easily been killed. I really hope someone gives these whalers real hell for what they're doing.

Its apalling ! I have seen many gruesome documentaries made by TV channels in Europe in order to force a ban on whaling by Japan.

There is an international body and treaty, but Japan just wont sign it !
They get away by saying its for scientific purpose.

Come on! You can't blame the Japanese here. The sailor couldn't see the small ship. After all they are just 4 feet tall )

Default Breed whales

I have a theory that if you want to conserve a species, it is better to ensure that it is more useful to man and we encourage its usage.

I am not kidding. Think about it. Case in point - chicken, lamb, prawns, ostrich, quail, duck...I don't see chicken being extinct any time soon. On the contrary I do see mankind creating more species of chicken (genetically modified).

Instead of banning killing of whales, we should encourage more people to develop a taste for them. Eventually we will have whale farms. I am sure the Japanese whale farms will be pretty efficient too.

I wonder what whale meat tastes like? Mmmmm...

(I am not endorsing the boat incident in any way - thats reprehensible and it seems logocal that there is a law against it.)

It simply disgusting.Whales are such gentle creatures and so essential for ecological balance.Something must be done to stop this.

Something strange about this video.

As I can see it, the smaller boat is getting in the way of the big whaling ship. The big whaling boat tried its best to chase the small boat by spraying water jet at them. But the smaller boat, which could have easily moved out of the way, continued and stood right in the path of the big slumbering ship.

Ships don't have brakes, they don't have the ability to turn like a car. If they could, Titanic would have never sunk.
