If you need help in designing a poster, do let me know. I would be more than happy to do something for this cause. Hope Ani or Imran can vouch for my designing skills, taking into consideration the earlier Team-BHP Hyderabad Meets Invites

I think Ani surely has to have some place left on his STORM for this cause, taking into consideration the Trip De Leh sticker already adorns his STORM

Deepak, do we have a buffer for more people, if they wish to join? On a more serious note, are we well to do with the number of SUV's/MUV's needed for the Jungle Safari?

DKG: Am very sorry, I MUST have mentioned this before.
Can I please have a cottage.

Just saw the spread sheet and I am listed in dorm. Can it be changed to a cottage.

Please.
Thanks,

Fazal good idea. I would like one set for my pickup truck to be there permanently and a small 3x3 for my Jeep windscreen. Will bear whatever it costs. BTW that's such a lovely shot of the Tiger

Fazal my experience has always shown the caravan to not work too well, in terms of delays and also a small tendency to add pressure on driving together in a large group.

I have to hit the road by six so that I reach in time and ensure breakfast etc is organised as per plan.

I have no issues if the rest of the group wishes to travel in a caravan, BTW my Jeep is the slowest of all the cars so its best I move on in time so I reach slightly early for breakfast arrangements, stay arrangements etc

While returning would be happy to tail the caravan

Yes go ahead and add if someone's interested

The forest officials told me that in a worst case scenario even a car is okay on the trail as its dry and no slush etc

There are only 8 cottages and in order of people who signed up these have been assigned. If you feel you can request someone to opt out when we reach there maybe that's a possibility.

I honestly don't know how I can accommodate your request. I have an 80 yr old mother with me otherwise I would have offered my cottage.

Travel,
Can you let us know how much would a 12X18 inch sticker with the same format cost? Also same one in 3X6 inch, which can stick from the inside on a windshield. Lets see and check the economics for all members to take a call.

Apart from this, your design is very welcome.
Regards,

I would need to contact my printer for this. Shall let you know the rates by tomorrow as they are closed today. Will take up this task and get down to designing a sticker for both the sizes as specified. 12x18 & 3x6.

I got a PM from a savior Angel.

DKG, I hope you had a great drive on the OTR.
My wagon R crossed your jeep on the Gandipet-Langar Houz part.

Fazal sir, great idea. This photo is wonderful. I would love to have 2 of them, if you don't mind.

Instead of travelling in a Caravan, we can meet at some place near to Mannanur by some fixed time because I don't think anyone knows where FRHs are located in Mannanur. Also, there could be people who would want to stop at some scenic place for pics and they might be forced to forego those to keep up with the group.

Cheers,
Saleem.

Reaching a particular place at a fixed time sounds impossible, given the varied speeds at which each person rides. As suggested, let us all converge at CRPF School near Barkas, from where we all can tailgate each other till Mannunar.

In case someone wants to breakoff from the group for a couple of pics, they are more than welcome. But also, they need to assure that they rejoin the group at the earliest.

We all can take a 10 mins break at the Mannunar Entry Point, so that the people who have missed/stopped on the way for pics or any reason can catch up. So that we all can continue ahead.

I've seen the normal trips involving a certain number of vehicles would respect each others individuality and would expect back the same. You are free to do what ever you want to do, until it doesnot affect the whole plan and disturb the whole schedule. The main motive is your recreational activities should not hamper others plans. Lets all enjoy as a team, rather than being as an individual.

hey folks, to enable a clear picture of the carpool status, Ive taken the liberty of adding a couple of additional columns to the spreadsheet:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...GTTYxZlE&hl=en

one column to indicate whether or not the individual is getting his/her vehicle and the other to indicate number of people in each vehicle thats coming with travellers' names in a cell comment.

I hope this is okay.

Traveloholic, no way can RajKumar's Tata TL keep pace with adzegeek's Scorpio on the Hyderabad Srisailam Highway.

To ensure safe driving, assembling at a point closer to the destination will be the right and sensible choice.

Of course, once in the forest, I personally would love to be seated in the Tata TL than in any other vehicle.

Well dont be surprised if TL and the scorp reach at the same time - what do they call it - rather somnambulant style of driving.

Nikhil : any chance we can tie up to go together - looks like my company has dropped out and I would hate to travel on the road alone (on a rather bulky people mover) and zero knowledge of Telugu or local roads.

Now that you mention I do remember crossing a Wagon R at the Narsingi junction. More of a picnic offroad to a lovely grove on the banks of the Himayatsagar
