And I am the one who follows but almost never. I like holding all the traffic behind me to red lights and dont even jump orange lights. Best way to make the honkers follow traffic rules.

EDIT: How come no option for "NEVER" here? There might be lots who dont jump lights.

I am with you Amit. These dudes on fire need to be taught some traffic rules before they get a license. Way to go.. I am with you.

This is whats called arrogance of youth. So you'd prefer to jump red lights over starting early ? Suppose you are at a red light, you dont see anyone crossing the road, you start jumping the signal and suddenly a call center qualis rams into you, coz the driver looked at the green signal and not you.

Its coz of people like you that i dont cross the signal without looking both ways even if its green.

Dude, nothing is more important in life than life itself.

Dude, somebody else may be in a hurry too and may be accelerating hard on seeing his light still green. And in city i have seen wether i drive rashly speeding up as much as i want or serenly my travel time differs by about 30 seconds for a 6km commute.

the option is almost never because here in Noida there are lights which you have to jump. I have stopped at a red light for 3 minutes before realizing that its permanently red due to a fault! Infact most people stopped thinking that the light would turn green! and in Noida there are intersections where you will see all 4 lights for the junctions RED, permanently, or all 4 Green. Hehe.

Bad drivers? Are you joking. Actually they are pilots who believe that if they cross a certain speed their qualis will take off

There have been times when I held up traffic behind me because of red light. I have even shouted at ppl honking at me, and showed thme the signal.

but times when I am not in mood and have no energy/time to preach, I follow the mob.

Same goes for Gurgaon as well. Dunno how it is now, but couple of years back, the signal at the intersection of Mehrauli-Gurgaon road and Jaipur highway used to have all three lights on all the time. And a traffic constable asleep in the middle of the intersection.
