I have not seen this type of example of team marked underdogs many times - I think all the better for thyem, they do not have pressure of expectation on them.
I don't think the Netherlands were ever underdogs! They are ranked #4 in the world. They have traditionally been underperformers in world cups, so that's maybe why they haven't received too many votes on this poll.

Spain just survived luckily against Paraguay. With the German attack it would be difficult for Spain to control the game.

Germany all the way!!

For his own good Paul should come wrong, else he will SURELY land up in someones dinner table( saw in the news too) There are too many behind the german team- they are the fav and the underdogs, sentiments too favour them now

OCTUPUS curry for dinner. Go Germany go.

The reason i support them is the TEAM is playing just too well with each other. The final of Ger-Neth would be amazing.

The guy from Uruguay deserves a special mention. Should be handed a presidential medal for what he did for his country.

Sorry to all those who believe sportsman spirit and stuff but "If you were in that situation would you have taken that risk"?

Ask yourself

game will begin in an hour or so.

I bet on Spain. Germany is good but Vila is in good shape. The play maker Xavi is very good. I think best of current time.
Podolski and Klose are just playing with their luck.

But the Netherlands will win this years cup for sure.

He deliberately punched a ball which was going into the goal (and he's not a goalkeeper). He was red carded and a penalty was awarded to the opposite team, Ghana. Ghana missed the penalty and the match went to extra time and penalties. Uruguay won on penalties. Btw, the name of the player is Luis Suarez.

Germany have to make sure that they do not concentrate only on Villa. It will leave gaps for others to take advantage of. Mueller is not eligible to play today. So, will Germay miss him?? Hmmm, only time can tell.

Paul, you had better lied about your prediction, or else.....

This is turning out to be a boring match.
Or am I the only one feeling that way.

Body language makes me feel Spain has an edge.

Spain has set the pace (or lack of it). Now Germany is playing like Spain.
