Boootle, when did you start dancing lessons? See what you did now.

Bootle dances in Madras, earthquake in Andaman. Like a real life Rajnikanth.

Two? I culdn't keep track of how long it lasted: was it about five or ten seconds? My mind was too busy going "Earthquake Whaaaaaaa!".

At least this time I didn't waste time wondering. This is my second one here and I recognised it right away.

Must have been this one. 7.7 is quite big, isn't it?

7.7 is def very big. But it depends on what type of earthquake. If it was a surface type quake, we will hear about a lot of damage tomm.

There were two of them with a gap of about a minute in between. Stuff really started shaking the second time. Stood down for 10 mins and then came up. This is the third midnight shake in the last 3 years.

I missed the first one, then. When I thought to look at the clock it was 1.03.

What about Tsunami risk? If there is a wave, how long does it take to reach our shore? Maybe not a good day for early morning beach walking.

That happened to me the first time. It took me longer to figire out "why does it feel like somebody is shaking my chair?" than the tremor lasted.
