Default Sony Music in hot water

There is a huge uproar around the world and protests are mounting against the DRM (digital rights management) "rootkit" software developed by Sony/BMG.

The culprit rootkit installs into your computer without your permission. Once installed it cannot be removed directly. You need permission from Sony to remove it. The company will ask you your email ID, and "grills" you before answering your prayer.
Only Sony-made and sony compatible devices can play the digital media. So, things like iPod are out. There is a EULA (for a music CD!!). And the EULA says, even after the removal of the rootkit the DRM will remain in your PC forever.

One more reason to stop using Windows
Anyways sony has been at such crap since time immemorial. Sony Car CD players do not play your "sony crippled CDs". I would stay away from that company
