Default Really Really Interesting

Guys Guy Guys.Something really interesting for you people to wack your brains.I dont know how many of you know this.Lets get started.

Try saving any file or try creating a folder by the name CON on your PC.I bet it just wont allow you to.And the most shocking news is even Bill Gates hasnt found out a solution to this.

Happy Renaming..

It's not a bug, just a reserved name in Windows. Goto command prompt and create a new folder with the name CON. It'll work.

Its not just CON, you cannot create PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9.

Its not any bug as gr8guzzler already pointed out.. These are just Reserved Device names.

Old but funny hoax...

Because they are all reserved names in Windows Operating Environment.
"con" is console
"aux" is auxillary
"nul" is null
And Microsoft not knowing it is crap ... it's a known fact

Try the following in Windows XP to create names with reserved words.
# Click on 'Start' --> 'Run'
# Type 'cmd'
# Type ' mkdir \\.\c:\con' - Create directory
# Type 'rmdir \\.\c:\con' - Delete directory
Bill Gates not knowing this is a gimmick to spread the message across, that's not believable at all
