Back to where I belonged couple of days ago. Missed this, but this has been a good wait. My fav theme is Saville.

And the coolest thing is the homepage. As somebodyelse mentioned, having a diff image on every load is cool. My fav is red Bentley.

Note: Some button images are not loading.

i dont know about the others but i really feel the new colour schemes rock.i love the hallowed yellow colour scheme.it just takes a little time to get used to but then its amazing.

GTO

some of the images on the homepage dont load properly.and secondly some one has already mentioned this before.the private messages shows no new messages however when you go into your inbox there is a message.

so at first i didnt see your pm and then i just went into the inbox and i saw that i had a new message.

besides that i havent found any problem and im still exploring.the new look is great and i really like the garage feature.

its great to be back soon.

thanx to You and all the mods for putting in a great effort.
Rev

Hi Amit,

Click on "User CP" on the top bar when you are logged in.
Click "Edit Options" on the left
Scroll all the way down, and in the last dropdown select the skin which you would like to have as YOUR default.
It will then load everytime you log in.

Hey mods, hats off for bringing our home back up in record time. We all appreciate your hard work and dedication, and respect you for it.

But, can we have smooth red back, please?!

@devarshi & Vandan,

Look at post #48 & #22 in this thread. Change your skin to one that is not as high contrast and it will be easier on your eyes.

Good work guys. I am a bit disappointed with the new themes though. Specially the first two themes are not eye friendly. I am missing the old white/light red theme. Is it possible to get some extra themes (offcourse if they are freely available) ? Now, the Standard theme is my favorite.

Excellent work GTO and the other mods. The site is much faster. It Loads significantly faster and the posts appear to be posted quickly too. Type the message one click for post and ergo!

2 features which are worth their weight in gold(and more):

New Posts - This is such a big timesaver. Just click on one link to find out what's happening. No more opening each forum sub-sections seperately. Infact I always used to wonder why this feature is missing in Team-Bhp.

Garage- It's sooo handy. So many times i have searched for pics of members cars.Again another timesaver.

Well,I guess perhaps one grouse:

The old red and white theme was very good. So smooth and easy on the eyes. The new themes are functionally better and are more funky. But they are high contrast and take time to get used too.My favourites are standard and mettalix.

I hope that somehow you guys can bring back some old standard plain Jane themes. We actually spend so much time reading this forum- so something easier on the eyes would be great!

Hey jimmy, the "new posts" feature has always been part of the site.

As far as the theme's go, try the Seville theme. I find it really easy on the eyes.

Team,

Thanks for the compliments and suggestions.

1. The new PM indicator is very well showing. Our PM was sent to you in the midst of upgrading and before the board went live. Thats why it wont show up as new.

2. The Images will all be reloaded just to make sure that they are not missing for anyone.

3. I can see that some of you prefer simplistic styles. Therefore, additional simple styles will be uploaded in a short while. In the meantime, please use the "Standard" style or the "Cyclic". They are most basic.

Thanks

GTO
