Ok, just ordered one on flipkart. Need suggestions on the second one..

Flipkart.com: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time 1849920419: Book: Mark Haddon (9781849920414)

BB: Not considering Harry Potter, since I am assuming that he would have read it.
Leave alone your nephew, even I LOVED Harry Potter. Sad that there would not be any more in the series :X

Edit: How is this ? Will an Indian kid enjoy it ?

For the 16 year old, give this: Amazon.com: Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! (Adventures of a Curious Character) (9780393316049): Richard P. Feynman, Ralph Leighton, Edward Hutchings, Albert R. Hibbs: Books

For the 12 year old: Amazon.com: The Hobbit (9780007611621): J. R. R. Tolkien, David Wenzel, Charles Dixon, Sean Deming: Books

Be Indian , Buy Indian /\

My entire family liked this book series. However book 3 is not out yet.

Flipkart.com: The Secret Of The Nagas & The Immortals Of Meluha 5111121464: Book: Amish Tripathi (9785111121464)

Also for fantasy fans,
The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks
The Black Prism by Brent Weeks (IMHO The Black Prism is the better story but only the first book is out so far)
The Game of Thrones - George RR Martin - is pissing me off, like a couple of posters said earlier. I swear I won't buy any more books until Daenerys takes over.

Non Fiction -
More Money than God -Hedge Funds and the making of the new elite - Sebastian Mallaby
The Alchemy of Finance - George Soros
Both of these are good reads for those who are interested in finance.

I also liked the first book. Will read the second one soon...

The boys already have them, though

Finished the following books in the last 2 weeks on my kindle -

- The Innocent by David Baldacci. Quite a decent read for those who like conspiracy thrillers

- The girl who played with fire by Stieg Larssen. This guy is too good.. i had read the first one a few months back, and the series just gets better !

Just finished Anthony Bourdain's Medium Raw. Fantastic angst ridden stuff - makes you laugh and think as well. As usual very colourful/explicit language by Bourdain. I love it infact but just info for people who are easily bothered by stuff..
still recommended for anyone who likes the guy/his tv show and reading about food/restaurent business in general.

I've got hooked to the series - A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. Am now onto the 3rd book - which is actually the 1st part of the 3rd book called Steel and Snow. Really interesting stuff. Can't wait to finish the whole series.

And also recently, bought and read the Blaft Anthology of Tamil Pulp Fiction. Would say that 2/3rd of the book was good. The last few stories were a little boring. But interesting to read some pulp fiction
