Agree. All I believe is that the situation is not completely hopeless for India. But if the Aussies do an Aussie...

IND VS SA ?
India has lost to Australia numerous times , and Aussies will come hard in a knockout match.
Also going by current form Pakistan has more chance of playing the final than India.

Ind vs Aus on a flat track. Its really not looking very good considering our bowling options. Curators could have easily prepared a good turning track but they stick with flat one.

Advantage Oz:
Good bowling unit, even on flat tracks (compared to ours)
India's pathetic last 10 overs play

Advantage Ind:
Yuvraj's alround performance
playing without Nehra

Harbhajan's blood boils when playing Australia

Here goes India's baddest bowler shooting his mouth off !!

Why the hell doesn't he shut the ............and concentrate on his bowling for a change ? Or maybe he doesn't get time, coz he might be licking Dhoni for the better part of the day (looking at the way he doesn't get out of the team after so many non-performances)

India V Pak- India wins.
India V SA- India wins.
Now wait and watch.

I'm just thinking of the financial and economic implications to us if India should win this world cup.
1 crore for every six hit and lakhs on (unnecessary) awards, houses etc.
I wonder....

And the bookies are confident that the semi clash will be between India and Pakistan.

Just imagine: Ind v Pak - semis - so much money involved/exchanged, in the betting world, in the fixing world, in the media world, in the advert world. Can the world people, administrators, viewers care less? Can Aussies care less ? No one can afford not seeing that happen.

The whole world on one side wanting that to happen and the Aussies on the other side. There's no match between the World vs Aus. Aus will be overpowered by hook or crook. We need great policing. But who is going to do the policing? Some people from "the world". Not possible. Set pieces everywhere. We would be made fools once again at the end of today. World making a fool of itself, WWF style!

Coming back: I can see couple of office folks roaming around - getting hold of LED huge screens and putting them in the lab for the event starting in an hour. All play and no work makes cricket-lovers wise!

Ok, it boils down to this now. It has all but begun.
Aussies will be batting first on a pitch that will tend to get slow towards the end.
Can we restrict them to say 250 odd and then Sachin and Sehwag play the innings of a lifetime? Only time will tell.

Go on Men in Blues! I so want to see Ind Vs Pak in Mohali. Its been close to a decade that we played them in a WC.

So..Aussies off to a good start. C'mon India..you guys can't lose in front of 50,000 fans. And Harbajhan really needs to stop mouthing off and concentrate on the bowling.

Ashwin strikes first blow. Watson bowled for 25. Asu 40/1 in 10 overs.
