| Senior - BHPian | Though i want India to win, as obvious since i am an Indian, i feel that Pak has given stronger performances and is overall a stronger side. I also do not want our cricketers to be showered with more moolah, which is obvious if they win, cause we will never get out of the fascination with them and keep neglecting other sports. Compared to our pampered lot, rest of the world struggles to earn their due for sure. |

India had a tougher group and a tougher quarter final (against 1st ranked team in ODIs). Arguably we have had a stronger tournament so far!

| Senior - BHPian | Running joke here. Pakis were not allowed to set foot on Indian soil in the league matches and now they are making a pitstop in Mohali onwards Islamabad which is possibly the shortest distance to Pakistan than Mumbai. |

Beating Australia comprehensively was another strong performance, we too beat them but had a very tough game. Beating SL in their own soil is another tough deal, so these are strong enough performances by Pak. BTW, I am surprised you say WI has 0 world class players??? They did not perform but Gayle, Sarwan and Chanderpaul are well respected in the game for their contribution.

| Pak has shown more strength of their bowling than we have of our batting so far, so agreed on their wins being bigger. We almost lost against Eng and struggled against WI bowling( weakest in the lot) Anyways, tomorrow is a new day, past does not matter ![]() Coming to the game today, read this on cricinfo- and this is really interesting about NZ: "This is the team that prepared for this Word Cup by failing to make the final of a tri-series in Sri Lanka, being humiliated 4-0 by Bangladesh and then being hammered 5-0 in India. Oh, and they then lost a one-day series 3-2 at home to Pakistan" I seriously feel this format for the WC does not really bring the best team out, like NZ is in while Aus is out, surely if NZ played india they would have been out! There is no perfect way anyways |

| NZ-83/3 in 22 overs. Malinga is a chucker for me whatever the ICC or the world says. That action is 100% chuck.Mcgrath and donald were stupid people with proper cricket action as per ICC's approval of Malinga. I want a NZ win. I dont like the SL team at all. |

I think if we rely only on a few, we cannot claim to be world champs. I feel that the unit will come together in the last 2 games and perform as a champion team, what we saw over the past 2 years. Captains need to lead from the front and perform in crunch games( like ponting and Afridi), hope Dhoni does too

| Senior - BHPian | The way the New Zealnader's are batting it seems they are making things easy for the Sri Lankans. They need to have atleast 290+ on the board to pose a good fight. They are lagging behind in the run rate, I hope Ross Taylor fires the way he did against the Pakis or he will be labelled as a one match wonder. IMO New Zealand would feel the pinch of not having a specialist spinner other than Vettori who can check the SL. |

Cricket is just a money making machine now. The technique and art has gone to dogs. However I will watch tommorow's Match. Just for old rivalry sake. But shame on ICC if SL win the WC with all those chuckers in the team.

and contrary to your claims this indian team is finally playing like a team and not a one man show. the other day raina raised to the occasion and carried the team to a win against the aussies when we wre 5 down. why isint that important or is it like every inning every body has to score a century to seem important in our eyes??? At different times different players have risen to the occasion in this team which is mark of a great team. Although yuvi has won 4 MoMs but the support cast has also been quite good. Generally we have played to the expectations, only coming little bit short against the Proteas. I think people are giving too much credit to pak. their batting has been in shambles and only afridi and gul have had any impact in this tournament so far. their WK is a joke and fielding the less the better. There is no reason to fear them, as there are hardly any players in that team worth fearing. they were always expected to be in the quarters given the group they were in, and there they beat a windies team that has absolutely nothing to offer to the cricket world now. sarvan, chandrapaul etc are NOT one day players. I'd have loved to have a Pak SA Quarter Final, sadly didnt happen. That would have been a better guage of their quality. Didnt they lose to NZ, of all teams!!!

| NZ 217 all out. What a shame, they fell like a pack of cards at the end. Sangakkara acted like Dhoni, constant changes in bowling and picking wickets. Will SL win this game too by 10 wickets. OMG!!! |
