I don't recommend professional help. He needs another girl. Simple. Get another one for you. And move on.

Exactly! He just needs a Munni who can be Zandu Balm for him.

Main Zandu balm huyi, darling tere liye

Start looking for your Munni...

You don't need professional help or Prozac for heart-breaks.

LOL I must be the only one who doesn't relate to this story.

Oh come on man, of all things one girl - 9 years?? 9 FREAKING YEARS. Even my professional experience doesn't add up to that number

It rings in my head..."9 years one girl" "9 years one girl"..

Look at the missed opportunities, man. There are more fish in the pond dude, start baiting.

Buddy,Get real.
I've been there,done that(Mind you,more than once )

Just remember that there are far too many things which are worth living for in our lives(Read as Good food, cars, hobbies etc)

Moreover,I'm sure there are other loved ones who care for you.
Just make sure you spend a lot of time with your friends and loved ones.
Time is a great healer and you will be fine.
Dont get into a self pity mode. You were born to achieve something and as many of our friends have said that before, live life man!

blackfire, i must say you are a lucky, guy you learnt about the fact before you tied the "knot" else it would have added to the mess!

find a hobby which will keep you busy and focus on your career, no point brooding over this the more you do the depressed you will be...

so like a true automobile enthu time to fall in love with a machine, gift yourself a bike/car or get a used jeep and involve yourself in modding it...i can go on

You could wallow in self-pity which ain't helping one bit or even spend time wondering how she could do this to you after all those promises. Stuff like this happens and not just to you. Like others mentioned, some ways to get out of this is indulging in hobbies, concentrating on work/career, working with NGOs,, friends etc. In short, just 2 words - move on.

And while you are at it, reflect deeply on the lost opportunities pointed out by Spitfire.
