+1. I thought it was a thread depicting the sorry state of the civic (not the car ) machinery.

From the picture, i am guessing this is a garage rock / punk rock band. Hideous !!!

@ MileCruncher, n_aditya: Be prepared to be devoured alive by the metal-heads on TeamBHP.

Cradle of Filth is indeed an extremely popular English Metal band.

Wow. That is going to be one hell of an experience. This definitely shows that bands like these are now keping India as a key destination on their radar.

Pretty intense music

Would love to have Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails and so on as well.

"Nymphetamine" the first song i heard of COF. And this was my screen name in one of the forums.

These bands just play for two hours but make a good deal of money. The crowd in the palace ground hardly enjoy the music when 10PM strikes and the show is shut down.

I personally feel the show should stop only after mid night.

Cradle of Filth and Sepultura, no.

Reading the title made me think of a realistic rendering by way of pictures of the (physical) filth that is such an essential part of Indian (civic) life. Learnt that the thread is not so.

Off topic :

Read in HT Mumbai edition today in the op ed page, " Charm defensive" about our northern neighbour being confounded by our 'rise' ["India an undisciplined country..how a big dirty country like that can rise so quickly amazed us"].

That is amazing. If we have risen, that is.

Back to topic : what kind of music does this group create?

Regards, drive safe

Somewhere i read there are two type of rock music. Good and the bad. In general Cradle of filth is usually termed bad gothic metal.

They have a female lead if i am right and have great influence of symphonic tunes. They dress like death metal group but rarely display such music

Whoa! CoF in India. I don't think the sensor board would have let them through. Hmm ...

Talented bunch of singers, but really not my type.

I am surprised that you do not know about this band. Almost every Maiden fan will relate to this one, specially since they are English.

Lol, good one. Naah, that is my blood group. I like Led Zeppelin, GnR and Paul van Dyk. Beethoven and Mozart are good once in a while too.
