Stratos,

When you go to SFO next, dont miss the boat ride which takes you under the Golden Gate and all around Alcatraz ( the island which was featured in the movie, The Rock )

Its a truly amazing experience. It is said that at any point of time, you will find two ppl painting the Golden Gate bridge. ( not sure if its real )

The view from the other side of the bridge, is also amazing ( from the hill on the other side of the bridge )

.. and not to mention, the Pakistani restaurant in Chinatown ( forgot the name tho' ) serves great Biriyani.

Did you know that Sanjose is one of the most expensive places in the US to live in ? But the good thing about Sanjose is that there is a Indian store / hotel in almost every second road.
btw, where do you stay in Sanjose ? Let me know in case you need any help. There are too many ppl around who will be glad to be of any help anytime.

Ah, the City by the Bay. And one lucky TBHP-ian.

Hey Stratos, hope you will love the place as much as I do. Check the various state parks along Route 35. Nice drives too in the area. You just triggered some fond memories, including one maniacal zipping on Route 1, at dusk.

Speaking of movies shot in SFO, see if you can enact the Sharon Stone chase shown in Basic Instinct.

And have you got stuck in any duck crossings yet? [ Still wonder why does the duck cross the road ]

Shucks, I was there last week and we could have met! Next time

I went into Frisco for the day and also one evening, I liked it, cool, unpressured atmosphere unlike New Your, alas property is expensive.

I tried walking up Hyde Road and oh boy! ! Had to drive down the crooked road - driving those streets with a stick shift is a major feat - Stop signs on a hill and a car inches from your rear bumper.
