1. Car

1998 OHC

2. What is your existing setup (HEADUNITS, SPEAKERS, AMPS, DSP,SW etc.)

> Headunit : Pioneer DEHP-9650MP w/Bill (Premier Edition with 6.5V Pre-out, bought from Dubai)
> Pioneer TS-G1311R 13-cm (5") metallic silver IMPP composite cone speaker w/Bill (Front doors)

> Front stage : Pioneer TS-S20 20mm High-Power Component Dome Tweeter
> Rear Fill : Pioneer TS-2150 20CM Cross-Axial 3-Waw Speakers
> Pioneer CDX-P1280 12 CD Changer B/W

> Wiring : 4 Gauge Boss kit
> Capacitor : Power Acoustik 3-Farad with Neon w/Bill
> Pioneer CD-RB20 (Auxiliary Input Adapter) w/Bill
> Creative 6-GB Jukebox w/Bill

3. How much did it cost ?

Almost 60K without the Jukebox (Rs. 12,450)

4.How serious were your about your system?

Very serious, its the music that makes my car run not the fuel. I wanted to have a very effective setup for great SQ.

5. Which kind of music do you listen to ?? prefer deep bass or how is it...

I listen to music with a LOT of deep bass and bass notes that rattle my spine. Totally into Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and Progressive House but I do listen to everything else as well.

6. Would you recommend it to others???

Definately would but not the Boschmann amp, I need a new 4 channel amplifier myself so that I can use my HU to its full potential with the 3-way networking.

7. Place where the setup was done

Three different locations.

A. Symphonie
B. Car Kunj
C. On my own

Pio 5750HU (grey maal)
JBL 936 (with bill and warranty)
JBL 426 (with bill and warranty)
Pio 6100F amp (grey maal)
Boss power wiring
Speaker wire from MX electronics
Particle board parcel tray

3. How much did it cost ?

Total cost Rs 24K. Saved on the installation since I fitted the system myself.

4.How serious were your about your system?

Dead serious. But budget constraints and too many needed modifications to the door did not let me go for front components.

5. which kind of music do you listen to ?? prefer deep bass or how is it...

Rock, jazz and blues, dance stuff at times (good while driving). I feel the need for a sub sometimes.

6. would you recommend it to others???

A fairly good system. Amp is great.
Hi Vivek, what was the price for the JBL GTO936?

I didn't even know about T-BHP when I got all this done but now I know I can do with a lot of sound advice from you guys. Thanks

What do you suggest as a replacement for the TS-S20? No tweeters?

Payam,
Nice install you've got.

Put the compos in the front door and remove the tweeters.

And as an upgrade, consider getting a 4channel amp and power the speakers from it.

Spend some time reading inside ICE section here and you'll get to know how to squeeze out the best sound from your setup.

Payam if you fit another set of components in the front your soundstage will be at the rear.
This is not the best way to do it. Ideally your soundstage should be at the front so it feels like the sound is coming from the front.
Your best option is to have the rear compos shifted to the front and future upgrade to a 4 channel amp and sub.
It will sound much better if you remove the compos.

Not quality but your sound will be concentrated at the rear. generally the aim is to have the sound coming from the front.
Your planning to get another bass tube?
Instead of that try to get a 4 channel amp CS60.4. connect the rear GTO937 to 2 channels of that, move the GTO507 compos to the front and connect the other 2 channels to these compos.
Now your left with the 2 channel amp which you can connect to the bass tube.
Try this setup you'll get a good SQL setup rather than a SPL. it will sound much nicer.
