Hey ICE'ers

This ones been pending for a long time... So finally here are the pics of the Barracuda's ICE install.

Lets start with the before pics

HU, Screen, EQ galore...

So we begin at the front stage... used stock locations

OE spacer ring for front door

pair sprayed with AZcomp FonoGel damping spray

compare OE speaker to Hertz Hi-Energy HSK165 midbass

OE spacer ring damped and ready for installation

Speaker installed, also note damping sheet on door inner

Tweeter installed in stock location, Hertz logo on stock tweeter pod...

Crossover for rear speakers

Rear speakers are Hertz Hi-Energy HSK130 5.25" component set

2g Power cable installed

Point of entry at firewall is sealed using AZcomp Fonoseal

Sub box built

carpeted and AZcomp ports installed

21" Hertz Mille ML5400D Sub unpacked

weighs 17 Kg approx (just the actual sub, box separate)

Mukul Patel holding it up... gives you an idea of how huge it is...

HU is the Clarion DXZ-956MC... very nice unit

HU installed...

Tru Technology Amps... 1x T4.100 (4ch for speakers) and 1x T2.200 (2ch for sub, used bridged)

All set... Sub box eats up the boot

OK... the thing with this setup is, it gets loud. But its a very enjoyable loud. The Hertz Hi-Energy have a laid back, lush sound and the Mille sub has highly accurate, fast bass that kicks like a mule. This one is again an all out SQ setup and NOT a SPL setup.

Gunbir boss....this is AWESOME, trust me! how much money spent?? its so true that i read in some of the posts earlier, we all "pool" each others money to buy a better ICE set up. hahaha

how did u calculated the length of the ports In one of the pics the length of the port is very small only one of the three pcs is used why?

Thats one mammoth of a setup .. Did see a few pics during its very initial stages , but after seeing this i must say a job really well done boys .. I love the way u guys detail the install with pics .. Well done gunman , JB and driven ..

Now waiting to see the work on the accord and the next secret project

awesome work..i somehow just love the touchscreen HU ...and the woofer doesnt hurt your ears unlike others when you're in the car..
